Chris Boyd, a Vanderbilt football player, indicted in rape case – CNN.com

The subject story here started a short while back when four Vanderbilt Football Players raped an unconscious co-ed in the  dorms.

The rape had not been reported but due to a review of the security tapes on an unrelated issue, the Players were observed acting strangely which created an investigation to ascertain why. Thus the rape came to light.

This report updates the case including the addition of other persons that in one way or another contributed to the crime. Discussion of persons that were contributors by act of trying to tamper with evidence, advice to participants, and possible other activities not yet known is part of this report.

The thing most relevant to this story is the fact that these guys had no reason to resort to rape for sexual satisfaction. All of those involved were Football Stars on the College team and had access to numerous women at the drop of a dime, but still chose to rape the victim. Why?

Is this a case of the “privileged” taking privilege? Wasn’t what they had good enough? These gentleman had the world by it’s testicles and were on the fast track to absolute success. But, the top wasn’t good enough for them?

What makes a man commit social and professional suicide?
