Finally, something to write about. Our subject story comes from China, which is just a stones throw away from the United States. Apparently, they are having a Killer Hornet problem. Close to 600 people have been attacked by these hornets, leaving 19 dead. The Killer Hornet nest is roughly the size of a Volkswagen.
The problem with such a critter flying around, is they really are just a stones throw away from the U.S.. For one of these critters to hitch-hike an airliner to here would a very serious thing. These hornets can grow to about 2 inches long and travel at about 25 miles per hour, carrying a payload of poisonous toxin that eats human flesh. And, when you run . . . they pursue. Sounds like some serious bug to me.
I do have a question though . . . Why haven’t these hornets ever been such a problem prior to now? Is there a nearby government doing genetics nearby?
