I know, which one right? There is a new Xfinity commercial on the television that has one guy trying to talk another into changing his cable services. At the end of it one guy offers the other a hug. To their dismay the guys wife opens the door catching the two men mid hug. She asks, “What are you doing?” and the response is, “Woodworking.”
If you ever see two men embraced in a hug, claiming to be woodworking, what would you think? Or, am I the only one that sees an association of inappropriate male bonding by use of the term? Maybe I am too “old school” to but I find the commercial a bit offensive just by it’s stupidity and suggestive implications. I truly find it unacceptable that Comcast plays a commercial like this without questioning it’s content.
I suppose Comcast could have had the men only dressed in their undershorts or something . . .
